Oil Figures

Two of the hardest things to do in art are select a subject and improve skills. I decided had been in a figure drawing class for a few years and while I enjoyed it, I wasn’t really improving my skills. I switched to a painting class where we spend much more time on each pose. Having the time to work on corrections really has helped me improve my command of anatomy. Plus, it means I’m always working on something and I’m glad to have that engagement.
