Watercolor Flowers

Flowers are expensive, have short life spans and are extremely beautiful. They’re are a perfect subject for watercolor. Several years ago I decided to paint every time that my family has flowers. They have become something of an autobiography detailing things like the extra perennials I was able to pick up as a volunteer with the Central Park Conservancy as well as decorations for celebration of various holidays.
